Fink
Fink Fink makes it easy for Mac users to install open source UNIX software. Packages can be installed on a Mac OS X system with Fink by typing “fink install packagename” for example “fink install lifelines”. In order to do that you have to get the binary installation of fink. It creates a folder called /sw/ in your HD. Then, in terminal you can install packages. The installed package executables are in /sw/bin/ folder.
